Skin cancer linked to organ transplants

Organ transplant recipients may have a higher risk of developing skin cancer, according to a new study.

Research by American dermatologists has discovered that patients who receive organ donations are almost 65 times more likely to develop various types of skin cancer.

Dermatologists want nurses and physicians to be more aware of skin growths after transplant surgery.
